In response to Roy Flannagan's question about the ideal scholars'
workstation, I would like to suggest that many scholars need images as
much as most of us need words. Those images may be photos or line
drawings, and they may be in black-and-white or color. A truly ideal
workstation, then, should be designed to make available to those who
need them high-resolution color (or b&w) images. In today's world of
hardware, high resolution probably means 1280 x 1024 max. Nick Eiteljorg
