Language/Multi-Media Laboratory Director

Language/Multi-Media Laboratory Director: Opportunity to plan the
renovation and expansion of the existing language laboratory into a modern
multi-media learning center. The director must have a strategic vision of
the direction of educational technology, including language pedagogy, and
the ability to communicate and engender enthusiasm for that vision. The
director will encourage and help language faculty to incorporate
information technology and learning theory into language instruction. The
director will be responsible for supervising the staff, managing current
traditional language laboratory operations and maintining close relations
with Northwestern's Academic Computing and Network Services. The contract
will be for a multi-year appointment as a Senior Lecturer. Northwestern
University actively seeks the applications of women and minority
