Dear Humanists and Ficinians,
Would you have any advice to give me on how to go about unearthing
some Renaissance treatises (French, Italian) on letter-writing in the
Bibliotheque Nationale and other Parisian libraries? I'm interested in
particular in the verse epistle.
Yours truly,
Marc Bizer

Dear Humanists,
Does anyone have advice to give me on how to find in the Parisian
archives some of the many treatises (Italian, French) on the role of the
Renaissance secretary? The sole copy of the only French treatise I know of,
Gabriel Chappuy's, *Le Secretaire* (1588), is in Wolfenbuttel, Germany.
Many thanks.
Yours truly,
Marc
