    just use altavista and there's an advanced search option for a string of
    text. alternatively google.com seems to do a pretty good search of a
    string. as an example just copy a sentence from a web page and feed it to
    google.

    as far as i can tell specialist sites, if all they do is web searches, do a
    poorer job of what the biggest search engines already do.
