Subject: lone scholar
Speaking of the lone scholar, I have always liked Wordsworth's word on
Newton, with his prism and silent face,
Voyaging through strange seas of thought alone.
When I was a kid, this was my favorite quotation. I always read _prism_ as
an adjective, and I am not sure I was wrong.
