         Subject: metaresources for academics

Dear Humanists:

I am on a quest for online metaresources for academics. Can you direct me
to directories for resources for listserves or other materials of use to
academics either specific to a field or general to the profession? I am
particularly interested in sites that might help new academics promote
themselves and their work.

Many thanks,
Carolyn
