Organisers: University of Birmingham and University of Lancaster

The organisers invite the submission of POSTER proposals for the conference
Corpus Linguistics 2005, to be held at the University of Birmingham 15-17
July 2005.

This is the third biennial conference in the Corpus Linguistics series but
the first to be held at the University of Birmingham. It follows on from
the successful predecessors held at the University of Lancaster in 2001 and
2003.

We invite posters on corpus-based/corpus-driven research including, but not
limited, to the following areas:

          - Phraseology
          - Critical Discourse Analysis
          - Translation
          - Pedagogical applications of corpora
          - Corpora, dictionaries and grammar
          - Corpus compilation
          - Software development

The poster proposals should be sent in electronic form to Weiqun Wang by
April 30th , 2005 to the following e-mail address: w.wang.2_at_bham.ac.uk
<mailto:w.wang.2_at_bham.ac.uk>.

Authors will be notified whether their posters are accepted by May 29th, 2005.
