             scholars affected by Katrina

I'd like to emphasize the assistance we need from the community here
to disseminate word of the "Katrina fellowships" being offered by MITH
and RCH. Please forward copies of both, but don't rely on electronic
communications, access to which is still scarce in the affected areas.
If you think you know of someone who might be interested please go the
extra mile to get the word to them. We need a network of *people* to
