         Subject: Royal Irish Academy - Digital Humanities Observatory

Dear One and All,

I wish to advise that an advertisment, for the
contract position of the Director of the Digital
Humanities Observatory appeared in the Times
Higher Education on Friday 28th September. The
Digital Humanities Observatory is a new and
exciting initiative which is funded under cycle
four of the Irish Government's Programme of
Research for Third-Level Institutions (PRTLI).
The closing date for the receipt of applications
is Friday 19th October. Full details are on the
Academy website - www.ria.ie and on
www.jobs.ac.uk. Further positions in the DHO will be advertised in early 2008.
