THREE VACANCIES ON WELSH DICTIONARY

The University of Wales is seeking to appoint two
Assistant Editors and a Technical Officer to join
the team re-editing Geiriadur Prifysgol Cymru
(the standard historical dictionary of Welsh).
The first two positions are on a scale from
25,800 pounds to 30,000 (under review) and the
second on a scale from 21,600 pounds to 25,100
(under review). The closing date is 25 January 2008.

Full details are available at www.wales.ac.uk/dictionary/gpc_swyd.htm

These appointments are a consequence of
restructuring the project staffing following the
retirement of the two Co-Editors, Mr Gareth Bevan
and Mr Patrick Donovan. Mr Andrew Hawke has been
promoted to the position of Managing Editor and
other members of the staff have also been promoted.
