        Subject: daily postings vs digests

A few members of Humanist have noted the absence of a digesting function
in the new software and have requested it be re-implemented. I've asked
Brian if this could be done; he tells me that it shouldn't pose a
problem and has added it to his list. So all that seems to be needed is
your patience for a little while.

Sorry, as they say in this country quite often from loudspeakers in rail
stations, for the inconvenience this may cause. (A humorous note may
help. Recently one of the top officials in the UK rail network declared
that our trains are "the envy of all Europe!" It doesn't take much to
imagine what the Dutch, or Germans, or Italians, or Swiss et al, would
say in response -- if they could stop laughing.)

Yours,
WM
