(15) --[1]------------------------------------------------------------------------ Date: 2018-11-01 07:58:33+00:00 From: Willard McCarty Subject: human-computer relations Those of you whose interests verge on human-computer relations will appreciate Lucy Suchman's address at CHI2010 (conference of the ACM's SIGCHI) on receiving the lifetime award for research. It's on YouTube, at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwHxMWtP_-M. Unfortunately she has not seen fit to publish the text of her remarks, but the overview of her work, though 8 years old now, is well worth the time spent viewing the video.
