Dear all,

I am writing to announce a further extension of the abstract submission deadline the AIUCD 2019 Conference, to November 12, 2018, 11:59 PM.

Abstract and bibliography should be submitted according to the
recommendations in http://aiucd2019.uniud.it/

Like in previous AIUCD annual conferences, contributions on general DH topics are also welcome, in addition to the specific focus of this
year's conference.

All best,
Paolo Monella

On behalf of the AIUCD 2019 Scientific Committee

Grounded, a festival in Slovenia, 21. - 23.11/2018

Grounded is a festival of electronic music, critical thinking and
activism that addresses current social issues by combining the seemingly
incompatible: deinstitutionalised theoretical debates, every day social
activism and progressive electronic club culture. Through debates,
projections, presentations, music performances and hangouts – the
baselines of which are equality irrespective of personal circumstances,
solidarity with the weak and the autonomy to govern your own fate – the
participants seek relevant, eligible and responsible answers to the
contemporary challenges.

The first edition of the festival was held in 2015 with the theme
Autonomy of migration. This year’s theme is Intimacy in the age of
artificial intelligence.
