The *Biblioteca Nacional de España*  
and the research group on Spanish Silver Age Literature  (*LOEP*
) at the Complutense University of Madrid present
"*La Edad de Plata interactiva*
" 
("The interactive Spanish Silver Age), a collaborative project to enrich
the Library's digital collections and their use in teaching and research.

"*La Edad de Plata interactiva*
" has three
subcollections: 1) The Modern Woman in the Silver Age, 2) Children's
Literature and 3) Madrid in the Silver Age Literature.

   - The  *Modern Woman in the Silver Age*
   
	*collection* offers interactive editions of short stories, novels and
   essays by modern Spanish writers: Emilia Pardo Bazán, Blanca de los Ríos,
   Carmen de Burgos, Isabel de Palencia, María Martínez Sierra, Hildegart
   Rodríguez , Carmen Velacoracho, Carmen de Icaza, Teresa de Escoriaza and
   Concha Espina. This collection has two monographs on modern women.
   
   - The  *Children's Literature
   *
    *collection* presents two interactive stories by the English writer Edith
   Nesbit (*Plague of Dragons* and *Spoiled Summer*, also available in
   English and with dramatized reading), considered a background of current
   fantasy literature and which were translated and published by Editorial
   Calleja in the twenties. The readers will be able to consult two
   magazines of additional information in which the historical context of the
   works and the evolution of dragoon myth in the fantastic literature.
   
   - In *Madrid in the Silver Age Literature*
   
     *collection*, stories from the period in which the city of Madrid
   presents itself as a space of modernity have been reedited in an
   interactive way. For this we propose a new approach to the life and work of
   the novelist, journalist and actor from Madrid Andrés Carranque de Ríos
   (1902-1936). This collection also has a geolocation magazine through which
   readers can explore a series of maps where the itineraries of the
   characters have been traced.

LOEP group goes on researching the evolution of digital reading and has
made available to readers this survey

  that will provide results for the design of editing tools appropriate to
the new needs of publishing companies. Thanks for helping!

Estimados colegas,
 
La BNE y el grupo de investigación La Otra Edad de Plata 
(LOEP) de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid presentan 
"La Edad de Plata interactiva", un proyecto en colaboración 
dirigido al enriquecimiento de las colecciones digitales de 
la Biblioteca y su uso en docencia y en investigación. 
Esta colección se enmarca en el convenio con Red.es y ha sido 
auspiciada por el proyecto eLITE-CM.

"La Edad de Plata interactiva" está integrada por tres 
subcolecciones: La Mujer Moderna, Literatura Infantil y 
Madrid en la Literatura de La Edad de Plata. 

--	En la colección La Mujer Moderna en la Edad de 
Plata se ofrecen ediciones interactivas de cuentos, novelas 
cortas y ensayos de escritoras españolas modernas: Emilia Pardo 
Bazán, Blanca de los Ríos, Carmen de Burgos, Isabel de Palencia, 
María Martínez Sierra, Hildegart Rodríguez, Carmen Velacoracho, 
Carmen de Icaza, Teresa de Escoriaza y Concha Espina. Esta colección 
cuenta con dos monografías sobre mujeres librepensadoras y mujeres modernas. 

--	 La colección Literatura Infantil presenta dos cuentos 
interactivos de la autora inglesa Edith Nesbit (Plaga de dragones 
y Verano estropeado, disponibles además en inglés y con lectura 
dramatizada), considerados antecedentes de la literatura fantástica 
actual y que fueron traducidos y publicados por la Editorial Calleja 
en  los años veinte. Además, los lectores podrán consultar dos revistas 
de información adicional en las que se desarrolla el contexto histórico 
de las obras y la evolución del mito del dragón en la literatura fantástica. 

--	En la colección Madrid en la Literatura de la Edad de Plata 
se han reeditado de forma interactiva relatos de la época en los que 
la ciudad de Madrid se presenta como un espacio de modernidad. Para 
ello proponemos un nuevo acercamiento a la vida y obra del novelista, 
periodista y actor madrileño Andrés Carranque de Ríos (1902-1936). 
Esta colección cuenta además con una revista de geolocalización a través 
de la que los lectores podrán explorar una serie de mapas donde se han 
rastrado los itinerarios de los personajes.

El grupo de investigación LOEP sigue investigando sobre la evolución 
de la lectura digital y  ha puesto a disposición de los lectores esta 
encuesta que le aportará resultados para el diseño de herramientas de 
edición adecuadas a las nuevas necesidades de las empresas editoriales.
