I do some annotation in the paper books I buy/read (never in the Library's
ones! :-) I do it for my benefit as it helps me later when I want to find a
specific point and remember my positive or negative reaction.

I join a Reading Circle each semester, and the annotations really help
during discussions.

P.S. regarding devices - I rather like having the usual Delete key (delete
character to the left of the cursor), but also want to have the
Delete-right key. The latter one is on all of my desktop keyboards, but not
on my laptop or phone. One more limitation.
