        Subject: New questions on Wikipedia

When I saw the appearance of the previous thread, I was hoping to read
subscribers' experience with using Wikipedia (or Wikidata) as a
computational tool. I first became aware of Wikipedia as a tool from
articles in the New York Times, specifically by Seth Stephens-Davidowitz:

The Geography of Fame, March 23, 2014
https://www.nytimes.com/2014/03/23/opinion/sunday/the-geography-of-fame.html

Talking Red State Blues, June 7, 2015
https://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/07/opinion/sunday/talking-red-state-blues.html

Now that the previous thread seems to be running its course, (and true to
the topic of this email list), I hope subscribers can share their
experiences with using Wikipedia as a datadump.

For those who want to work with Wikipedia as a datadump, you might want to

Does anyone here believe that Steven Pruitt is qualified to meaningfully
contribute to that many topics?
