        Subject: The Malgosia list

Dear members of Humanist,

The unwanted flood of messages from the Malgosia list associated with Humanist
began and continues while I am away, at a conference in Wuppertal. I’ve no idea
what started it, nor really what it is. I’ve written to the person who set it up
and to my colleague at King’s who has access to the innards of Humanist but have
not yet heard anything. Tom Salyers’ advice is mine: do not reply to these
messages but follow the link at the bottom of them to unsubscribe yourself. I
hope that works. Meanwhile, it seems, the only balm is patience.

Apologies on behalf of misbehaving software!

Meanwhile (for any Latinists out there): malo malo malo malo!

Yours,
WM
