This event will be introduced by Professor Willard McCarty himself (Emeritus Professor of Humanities Computing, KCL) and will be followed by a panel discussion with WM Fellow Leif Weatherby (Associate Professor of German, NYU, Arts & Science), Nick Srnicek (DDH, King's College London), and Mercedes Bunz (DDH, King's College London). Framed by short position papers, this panel will discuss the implications and ramifications of the political economy of AI, which is rarely addressed in the debate revolving around Intelligence Systems hyped as our future saviour or feared for their biases.
