Subject: Who teaches when we teach DH? A Survey

Dear colleagues,

We—Brian Croxall (BYU) and Diane Jakacki (Bucknell University)—are conducting a
research study: “Who Teaches When We Teach Digital Humanities?” We hope to learn
more about

1. the training and preparation of those who teach digital humanities
2. the for-credit and informal teaching DH teachers do

If you have ever taught digital humanities—in any capacity—we would like to
invite you to participate in this study. You participate by completing an online
survey. You can find the survey here:
https://byu.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8eoW5c9axfTa05f.

This survey will take approximately 10 minutes of your time. Your participation
will be anonymous; to further ensure anonymity, our survey instrument will not
collect IP addresses of those taking the survey. You will not be compensated for
your participation.

This research study is governed by the Institutional Review Board at Brigham
Young University. You may contact them at irb@byu.edu with any questions that
you have. We will also be happy to answer any questions that you have about the
study.

Please share this email widely with your colleagues; we are hoping to see
participation from as many people around the world as possible.

Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Brian Croxall, brian.croxall@byu.edu
Dian Jakacki, dkj004@bucknell.edu
