Call for Participation - Summer School in Padua, Italy, September 15 to
21 September on Art, Technology, and the Interplay of People and Things

The summer school is situated among the fields of aesthetics, game
studies, history and philosophy of technology. It is concerned with the
epistemology of participation in artfully composed socio-technical
systems, including conceptions of working knowledge, design thinking,
and the epistemic dimensions of play.   The faculty of the summer school
includes Natascha Adamowsky (director, University of Siegen Germany),
Pelle Ehn (Malmö, Sweden), Fabio Grigenti (Padua), Natalia Nikiforova
(HSE Moscow), Alfred Nordmann (TU Darmstadt, Germany), Gaetano Rametta
(Padua), Barbara Maria Savy (Padua), Astrid Schwarz (BTU
Cottbus-Senftenberg, Germany), Marzia Soavi (Padua), Cheryce von
Xylander (Leuphana Lüneburg, Germany). A more detailed description can

The summer school is especially addressed to graduate and doctoral
students who would like to present work in progress. Expressions of
interest should be communicated by June 10 to Natascha Adamowsky -
adamowsky@medienwissenschaft.uni-siegen.de
