Humanist Discussion Group, Vol. 33, No. 157. Department of Digital Humanities, King's College London Hosted by King's Digital Lab www.dhhumanist.org Submit to: humanist@dhhumanist.org Date: 2019-07-30 19:58:31+00:00 From: Colavizza, GiovanniSubject: Compiling a list of DH journals Dear all, Please help us by participating in a survey to compile a list of digital humanities journals and understand their use by the community. The survey is quite quick (~10m) and can be accessed here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdWDhEWVOp1qopjomAfGA8kNn_sbTPxgi6qZl d6U-rCdBVlmA/viewform In order to better understand the published research output of the DH, and its interaction with more traditional scholarship in the humanities, we would like to compile a list of academic journals used by the DH community. Such list will then be integrated within the ERIH PLUS list (https://dbh.nsd.uib.no/publiseringskanaler/erihplus/periodical/listApproved) and used to map DH and humanities publications from existing citation indexes. Please note we are not considering, for now, books, conferences and other publication typologies. The survey allows anyone to identify themselves and insert up to 10 journals in the list. Each proposed journal can be characterised by its dominant language and its focus on the DH (marginal, significant, exclusive), as perceived by the user. Multiple responses can be given. We are interested in the list as well as in the agreement (or lack thereof) among the community on the importance of a certain venue and how it is perceived. The results of the survey will be anonymously and openly shared with the community at the end of the survey period, which will be open at least until the end of the month. Please do let us know should you have any question or comment. Thank you for your help, Giovanni Colavizza and Silvio Peroni _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe at: http://dhhumanist.org/Restricted List posts to: humanist@dhhumanist.org List info and archives at at: http://dhhumanist.org Listmember interface at: http://dhhumanist.org/Restricted/ Subscribe at: http://dhhumanist.org/membership_form.php
