Dear colleagues,

We are delighted to announce the launch of DHSI Atlantic, a summer
school designed to introduce and demystify key concepts from the digital
humanities for students and scholars at any stage of their careers.
In-keeping with the Digital Humanities Summer Institute at the
University of Victoria, courses are taught by internationally-recognised
scholars and practitioners with extensive experience in the application
and instruction of DH tools and methods.

DHSI Atlantic will be hosted at University College Cork, Ireland, from
June 15-19th, 2020. Participants are welcome to enrol in one of three
introductory but intensive courses that will take place over five days.
This year’s course offerings are as follows:

Stylometry with R: Computer-Assisted Analysis of Literary Texts (Dr Jan
Rybicki)
Topic Modelling in Digital Humanities (Dr Derek Greene)
Introduction to GIS in the Humanities (Dr Patricia Murrieta-Flores)

The cost of registration is 300 euro per workshop. Please note that all
workshops will be taught in English, but the methods can be applied
across multilingual contexts.

Estamos encantados de anunciar el nacimiento de DHSI Atlantic, un
instituto de verano concebido para presentar y desmitificar algunos de
los conceptos clave en las humanidades digitales a estudiantes y
académicos en cualquier punto de su carrera. En la misma línea que el
Instituto de Verano en Humanidades Digitales (DHSI) en la Universidad de
Victoria, los cursos son impartidos por académicos reconocidos a nivel
internacional con amplia experiencia en la enseñanza y aplicación de
herramientas y metodologías de las HD.

DHSI Atlantic tendrá lugar en la University College Cork, Irlanda, del
día 15 al 19 de Junio del 2020. Invitamos a l@s participantes a
registrarse en uno de los tres talleres que ofrecemos, de nivel básico
pero régimen intensivo, y que tendrán lugar a lo largo de las cinco
jornadas.

Los cursos que ofrecemos este año son:

El precio por taller es de 300 euros. Cabe destacar que aunque el idioma

adquiridas son perfectamente aplicables en contextos multilingües.

Ens complau anunciar el naixement de DHSI Atlantic, un institut d'estiu
concebut per a introduir i desmitificar alguns dels conceptes clau en
les humanitats digitals a estudiants i acadèmics en qualsevol punt de la
seva carrera. En la mateixa línia que l'Institut d'Estiu en Humanitats
Digitals (DHSI) de la Universitat de Victoria, els instructors són

es freut uns sehr, Ihnen hiermit das digital humanities summer
institute DHSI Atlantic anzukündigen. In dieser Summer School, die
sich sowohl an Studierende als auch Junior- und
Senior-Wissenschaftler*innen richtet, werden Schlüsselkonzepte der
Digital Humanities eingeführt und entmystifiziert. Wie auch an dem DHSI
der University of Victoria sind die Vortragenden der DHSI
Atlantic international anerkannte Wissenschaftler*innen und
Praktizierende mit einschlägiger Erfahrung sowohl in der Lehre als auch
in der Anwendung von DH-Tools und -Methoden.

Die DHSI Atlantic findet von 15. bis 19. Juni 2020 am University College
Cork in Irland statt. Interessierte werden eingeladen, sich für einen
