Humanist Discussion Group, Vol. 33, No. 437. Department of Digital Humanities, King's College London Hosted by King's Digital Lab www.dhhumanist.org Submit to: humanist@dhhumanist.org Date: 2019-11-24 20:05:43+00:00 From: Bennett TchohSubject: Text Analysis Portal for Research (TAPoR) TAPoR Needs Your Help We need your help maintaining the Text Analysis Portal for Research (TAPoR) available at www.tapor.ca. TAPoR is a discovery directory where you can find digital humanities tools. Last year we absorbed the DiRT project (Digital Research Tools) so we now have many more types of tools but are probably missing important tools for the community. We would appreciate any help you can offer including: - Check that a tool you developed or use has an entry in TAPoR and that the entry is up to date. - Advise us of problems you have with the interface. - Leave respectful comments or short reviews. - Suggest lists of tools that would be useful. Please send all suggestions to TAPoR (tapor@ualberta.ca) Currently in its third version, TAPoR 3.0 contains a continuously updated database of tools of use to humanists. You can use the simple or advanced search option to find tools needed for your projects or use curated lists. You can also leave comments about tools and rate them. Have a look, discover recent and historic tools, comment, review tools and suggest improvements. You can appreciate that while it is exciting to set up such a portal, it is harder to maintain it over the long term ⦠which is why we need your help!
