The primary responsibilities of this position are working with staff and faculty at RRCHNM on existing projects and developing proposals for externally funded digital history projects that will be created at RRCHNM. Fellows will develop proposals out of their own research interests and expertise, in addition to collaborating with other PIs on proposals. One fellow will specifically work on Tropy (https://tropy.org), while the other will work on a variety of center projects (https://rrchnm.org/what-we-do/). Fellows who generate sufficient external funding to finance their position beyond the 2 years of the fellowship may be hired as research (non-tenure track) faculty at RRCHNM beyond the term of their fellowship.
