Thank you Martin Wynne,

It is timely then also to mention some digital texts collaborated on under
Burrows at the University of Newcastle, which were made available online only
recently. Many of these use LILAC markup, which predates the adoption of TEI.
Apologies if there is any overlap with the Oxford Text Archive. The archive is
available here: https://c21ch.newcastle.edu.au/alexisarchives/

John Burrows was close to many here at University of Newcastle, Australia and
will be greatly missed.

Kind regards,

John F. Burrows was also a pioneer in data publication. You can find
some of the digital texts which he created and used in his work in the
following items in the Oxford Text Archive. The oldest of these appears
to have been available for around 40 years.
