Subject: ADHO Statement on DH2020 and COVID-19 The Alliance of Digital Humanities Organizations, in consultation with the DH2020 (https://dh2020.adho.org/) conference organizers and program committee, is closely following the unfolding international situation regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus). Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the virus. Because the situation is changing quickly, we are planning for how best to ensure the health and well-being of conference attendees and organizers while taking into account the labour and financial commitments made. This is an ongoing situation, and we intend to provide an update on the 2020 conference by 1 May. In the meantime, we have extended the early bird registration deadline until 15 May in anticipation that the conference proceeds as planned. Given the level of uncertainty regarding all international travel, we encourage all travelers to buy travel insurance. For any questions regarding the conference organization, we encourage you to consult our FAQ (http://bit.ly/dh2020-faq) in the first instance. Questions not covered by the FAQ may be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org. With sincere best wishes to all, The ADHO Conference Coordinating Committee The 2020 Program Committee The 2020 Local Organizers The ADHO Constituent Organization Board The ADHO Executive Board _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe at: http://dhhumanist.org/Restricted List posts to: email@example.com List info and archives at at: http://dhhumanist.org Listmember interface at: http://dhhumanist.org/Restricted/ Subscribe at: http://dhhumanist.org/membership_form.php
