Subject: Free Online Research Training Resources

Dear Colleagues,

With much doctoral training and research training going online during the
current pandemic, people are seeking educational resources. Several resources
are available free for use on my Academia page. If you have earlier versions of
these documents, you will find these versions updated and improved.

The Research Writing Workshop PowerPoint deck provides a broad, general overview
on research writing:

Twelve Principles of Reference and Citation provides specific guidance on
quoting, citing, and managing references:

Free Research Writing Resources, Books, and Services provides an excellent
collection of free research writing resources on the web, along with seven books
worth buying for those who wish to go deeper.

Even though people download and use these materials, I don't get much feedback
on their usefulness or value. If you find any of these documents useful, please
use the Academia 'recommend' feature to recommend it. I welcome comments and
suggestions for the next version of each document.

Yours,

Ken Friedman
