Subject: EADH2020: Deadline extended until 30 April in response to Coronavirus outbreak

Dear all,

After intensive discussions between the EADH Exec, the LOs and the PC of
EADH 2020 about responsibilities, (un-)foreseeable developments,
feasibility and impact on the European (and worldwide) DH community we
have decided to extend the deadline for proposal submissions to the 30th
of April 2020 midnight (UTC+7).

With this decision we express our hope that together we can overcome the
present crisis and can celebrate the EADH 2020 conference in Krasnoyarsk
in September together. With this decision we also want to give more
fellow DHers from European countries (other than Russia) the chance to
still submit their research for presentation who understandably have
been reluctant to think about travel and conferences because of the
dramatic situation in their own countries, shutdowns and travel

Please feel assured that we will monitor the international developments
closely and will let ourselves be guided by the responsibility we have
for everybody's safety in all our planning.

The new versions of the extended CfP for EADH 2020 will be available
soon at https://eadh2020.org/

With our best wishes for you and you families
EADH Exec, PC of EADH 2020 and LOs of EADH 2020
