        Subject: occasional interruptions

From 20 June to 17 July there are bound to be a few interruptions in
the postings from Humanist. As always, postings will be safe until I can
pay attention to them.

How many here, I wonder, can remember, indeed were alive and watching
television when the message "Do not adjust your set" would from time to
time appear? What now corresponds to "adjust" and "your set"?

Yours,
WM
