        Subject: two problems with Humanist

Some here will have noticed that Humanist's search-function has been
broken for a while. In addition the postings from some members have for
months not arrived for me to publish them. King's Digital Lab, which was
responsible for Humanist's restoration months ago, will in due course be
undertaking repairs that should solve these problems. KDL has much else
to attend to, so these repairs may take some time.

Meanwhile those whose postings have been filtered out can help by
letting me know directly, to (willard.mccarty@mccarty.org.uk). As I've
said many times, hand on heart, I do not censor messages without
letting the author know what the problem is and inviting a revision; in
the last 33+ years, this has happened no more than half a dozen times,
perhaps fewer. KDL staff will need to figure out why the gremlin or
gremlins responsible eat only some postings and not others, so knowing
which have been eaten is key.
