        Subject: Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship at CIRCSE (Milan, Italy)

Dear Colleagues,

The CIRCSE research center at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore
welcomes Expressions of Interest from researchers who wish to apply to
the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship scheme 2020 (European
Fellowships) with a research project to be carried out in Milan (Italy).
Selected candidates will be offered both academic and administrative
support from the CIRCSE staff and the Research Office of the Università
Cattolica del Sacro Cuore with regards to the proposal development
(deadline for submission to the funding agency: September 9, 2020).

The Expression of Interest is open for proposals that fit within the
research areas promoted by CIRCSE, including in particular Natural
Language Processing, Corpus-based research and Information Extraction
from texts in ancient languages.

CIRCSE is a pluri- and interdisciplinary research center of the
Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan, Italy). The center was
started by Roberto Busa SJ, author of the Index Thomisticus and pioneer
in the usage of computers for linguistic and literary analysis;
currently, it hosts the ERC-funded project “LiLa: Linking Latin”
[https://lila-erc.eu], directed by Prof. Marco Passarotti. For more

Those interested should send a CV and a short summary of their proposal
(one or two pages) by June 19, 2020. The short proposal should include a
brief discussion of: state of the art, motivations, objectives, and
expected outcome. All files must be sent by email to the following address:

with the subject: “MC-2020 expression of interest”.

Before sending their documents, applicants must check that they meet all
the conditions for eligibility of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions
